Kenya Porter
Kenya Porter, is a Program Manager, in this role she manages engineering teams for Google Shopping Data and Quality. They ensure the content you see on Google Shopping is of high quality in a multitude of facets. Within Google she serves as Lead for the Black Googler Network ERG, and the K-12 Education team, which focuses on engaging, exposing, and teaching students about technology and computational thinking. Prior to Google she was an Assistant Vice President in Retail Lending Customer Experience, at PNC Financial Services, curating front and backend solutions for consumer products, and was also the President of their African American EBRG of over 1k active members.
Kenya’s passion for giving back to the community led her to join the Board of Directors for Gwen’s Girls, The Pittsburgh Project, and PWN . Additionally she serves as a Civil Service Commissioner for the City of Pittsburgh, was on Mayor Ed Gainey’s transition team, and volunteers her time in a multitude of efforts. Kenya received her M.S. in Organizational Leadership and Change Management from RMU, B.S. in Information Technology & Management with a concentration in Network Security from PPU, and Associate of Science Degree from CCAC in Information Technology. In her free time she loves to travel, and laugh while making new memories with family and friends.
